Assurant Specialty Property hiring for customer service jobs in Atlanta

Assurant Specialty Property said this week it is hiring for customer service jobs in Atlanta.

The provider of insurance services will bring on 100 new employees for its customer service centers in Gwinnett County.

The company is advertising the jobs on its website.

It is currently hiring part-time and full-time customer service representatives, as well as managers, at its two service centers in the Duluth / Interstate 85 area.

The company provides insurance services in partnership with financial institutions, mortgage lenders, manufactured home sellers, auto finance companies, property managers and their customers. Services include insurance tracking and management, lender-placed homeowners insurance, and property and personal coverage such as renters, farm and flood insurance.

It is is part of Assurant, a provider of specialized insurance products and related services in North America and select worldwide markets. Assurant, a Fortune 500 company and a member of the S&P 500, is traded on the New York Stock Exchange.

Company hires for customer service jobs in Atlanta

Ryla announced this week that is recruiting hundreds for customer service jobs in Atlanta.

The Alorica company announced that it needs to hire over 650 people immediately for a temporary one-week project. The customer service jobs are the final wave of hiring for a seasonal project at the Ryla contact center.

“This is a perfect opportunity to make extra cash for the holidays,” says Ryla HR Director Karen Smith. “Employees will make $9 per hour with a bonus of an extra $1.00 an hour at the end of the project for each hour worked,” stated Smith. Employees will be paid for all project work on December 16. Additional incentives will be offered, and a drawing for a cruise for two will be awarded on the final day of the project.

Employees hired will be offered paid training and will work from December 5 – 12. Candidates should have basic customer service skills and a general knowledge of computers. The three-day training program begins on Monday, December 5, and the remaining time will be spent taking customer care calls through Monday, December 12.

Company Empowers Veterans with Customer Service Jobs in Atlanta

A company is partnering with AT&T to offer veterans customer service jobs in Atlanta.

AT&T* and Alorica today launched a revolutionary customer care program staffed entirely by American veterans with disabilities. This initiative, AloriCares, empowers veterans with an opportunity to earn a good wage and regain independence by working to provide customer care for AT&T business customers.

The AT&T pilot will launch in Atlanta in November and will employ approximately 60 veterans by March. The veterans will serve as front-line customer service representatives, as well as in supervisory, operational, and support functions. AT&T business customer inquiries on the company’s broad range of products and services will be handled by the AloriCares support team. AT&T and Alorica intend to extend the program after the pilot.

Ryla Hiring for Customer Service Jobs in Atlanta

Ryla has announced they are recruiting for customer service jobs in Atlanta.

Ryla, an Alorica company, today announced it is hiring to fill at least 1,400 new jobs at its Kennesaw, GA call center facility. The jobs expansion is due to expanded needs of one of its year-round clients as well as for a recurring annual seasonal project. Both full-time long-term and seasonal positions are available. Positions begin as early as November 1, 2010. Ryla is a leading domestic-focused provider of customer contact services for Fortune 500 and government agencies, and does no telemarketing or cold calls.

In addition to the customer service positions, Ryla is also seeking to fill several supervisory positions. The hiring wave is part of a six state expansion underway in Georgia, California, Alabama, Virginia, Colorado and Indiana.

Atlanta Customer Service Jobs Created by AT&T

An investment by AT&T could help create Atlanta customer service jobs.

AT&T has announced its plan to invest $17 billion into the company and create 3,000 jobs this year. Of the jobs, 2,000 will be new positions in customer service and applications development, while the other 1,000 jobs are overseas contracting jobs that will be brought back to America.

According to an article by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the company has not said how many of the new jobs will be located in Atlanta. AT&T’s headquarters is in Dallas, Texas, but AT&T Mobility and U-verse are based in Atlanta. The company is expanding to help support increased growth of its wireless, broadband and video service areas.
