Company secures hire for Atlanta executive jobs

A local company has made a big hire for Atlanta executive jobs.

ATS Realty Trust, a provider of data center facilities and cloud services along with security and compliance, has brought on Gina Haylett, strategic account director to Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) – Georgia Chapter’s Board of Directors.

Haylett joined QTS in August 2011 to assist in the development of the healthcare vertical strategy for the company’s Cloud and Managed services (referred to as C3) and colocation (referred to as C2) offerings.

HIMSS is a global non-profit organization focused on achieving better health through the use of information technology (IT).

Founded in 1961, this caused-based enterprise produces thought based leadership, education, events, market research and media services. HIMSS has grown to include more than 52,000 members and is headquartered in Chicago, Ill.

Haylett earned her bachelor’s degree from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

In addition to her role at QTS and involvement at Georgia HIMSS, she is also an active member of the Bioscience Leadership Council of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and TAG Health, a society within the Technology Association of Georgia.

Company hires for finance jobs in Boston

One company is growing and hiring for finance jobs in Boston.

Safe-Guard Products International has hired Jardon Bouska as Chief Operating Officer.

Most recently Bouska was Division President for Biller Solutions from Fiserv, which offers electronic billing and payment technologies for many Fortune 500 companies including Verizon, AT&T, Nissan, Bank of America, Allstate, and Wal-Mart. In addition to leadership roles in Customer Care, Operations, IT and Product Management, Bouska was co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer of SecureWorks, a company subsequently purchased by Dell.

Department fills law enforcement jobs in Atlanta

The Atlanta Police Department has filled several more law enforcement jobs in Atlanta.

The department just announced the graduation of Class #235.

Class 235 consists of 27 men and two women. In this class there are 14 college graduates and nine graduates with military experience. The valedictorian of the class is Officer John Suazo.

The graduation ceremony concludes 22 weeks of rigorous training at the Atlanta Police Academy, along with 12 weeks of field training with veteran officers. The training includes classroom courses in constitutional law, Atlanta Police Department policy and procedure, hands-on defensive tactics, arrest techniques and daily physical fitness.

The keynote speaker for the ceremony is Joe D. Whitley, Chair of the Atlanta White Collar Criminal Defense Practice. He represents clients nationally and internationally in a variety of matters, including white collar criminal matters and regulatory enforcement, corporate internal investigations, and Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) and U.S. export controls and compliance as well as corporate compliance, health care fraud and FDA-related matters.

The Citizens Police Academy will also graduate 26 new members. The Citizens Police Academy provides a hands-on opportunity to educate the citizens of Atlanta on the operations of the Department while obtaining valuable feedback from citizens to enhance police and community relations.

Graduates completed over 30 hours of instruction taught in three-hour sessions over several weeks. The training included classroom courses in crime scenes, a department overview and a zone ride-a-long.
