Company hires for SEO jobs in Atlanta

Everspark Interactive has completed a hire for SEO jobs in Atlanta.

The interactive marketing agency has hired Jonathan Holloway. Holloway started March 11.

SEO, or search engine optimization, is the practice or building up a website’s ranking with search engines – ensuring, for example, that a site will be among the first search results for a given search term on Google. Because proper SEO gives greater access to potential customers, it is one of the most in-demand services in online marketing.

Holloway has five years of experience in SEO, originally making his career by promoting online gaming sites. In 2011 he sold off all of his sites to focus on a new project.

Everspark CEO Jason Hennessey said, “In the interview he told me a story about when he hired an SEO firm for one of his own websites,” Hennessey said. “He paid top dollar, but their results were sub-par at best. He can see both sides of the table – he has been in the position of a site owner who needs to spend money to make money, and he knows what our clients want.”

One company ix expanding and securing a key hire for Atlanta finance jobs.

Concept Capital Markets, LLC, has hired Charlie Fisher as a Managing Director in the Prime Brokerage Services group.

Fisher brings to Concept more than thirty years of experience in the investment business, including a expertise in providing prime brokerage services to fund managers.

Fisher will be based in the firm’s newly established office in greater Atlanta, GA.

Fisher comes to Concept Capital from Grace Financial Group, LLC, where he was a Managing Director and spent the last eight years developing and growing a prime brokerage services practice as well as building a platform aimed at servicing traditional investment advisers. Charlie began his career at Shearson, where he spent the 1980s, and also worked at Neuberger Berman, LLC for more than a decade beginning in 1990, where he managed correspondent clearing and the prime broker group.
