Small business jobs in Atlanta are up

The number of small business jobs in Atlanta increased 2% in June, according to SurePayroll, a provider of payroll services.

Across America small business jobs are down 2.3% with pay also down, while in Atlanta jobs are up by 2% and pay is up by 1.6%.

This is positive news for the metro area, since dismal unemployment numbers came out across the board regarding other cities nationwide.
