Ryla Hiring for Customer Service Jobs in Atlanta

Ryla has announced they are recruiting for customer service jobs in Atlanta.

Ryla, an Alorica company, today announced it is hiring to fill at least 1,400 new jobs at its Kennesaw, GA call center facility. The jobs expansion is due to expanded needs of one of its year-round clients as well as for a recurring annual seasonal project. Both full-time long-term and seasonal positions are available. Positions begin as early as November 1, 2010. Ryla is a leading domestic-focused provider of customer contact services for Fortune 500 and government agencies, and does no telemarketing or cold calls.

In addition to the customer service positions, Ryla is also seeking to fill several supervisory positions. The hiring wave is part of a six state expansion underway in Georgia, California, Alabama, Virginia, Colorado and Indiana.

“With unemployment in Georgia at 10% and higher in some markets in which we’re expanding, we’re excited to be in a position to bring more jobs to help get people back to work,” said Mark Wilson, Ryla CEO and Founder.

Company Performs Non-Profit Jobs in Atlanta

Senior Connections is a Georgia-based company whose mission is to perform non-profit jobs in Atlanta for seniors.

Senior Connections recently kicked-off its annual fundraising campaign, Circle of Friends, at the Glenwood Park home of Jim Cheeks and Wendy Gutierrez. With a goal of $150,000, the funds raised will go directly to support Senior Connections’ mission of helping seniors age in place in the comfort of their own homes.

A number of previous campaign donors attended the reception along with several local elected officials, including Atlanta City Councilmember’s Carla Smith (District 1) and Aaron Watson (Post 2 At-Large). Valerie Jackson, wife of the late Mayor Maynard Jackson, was also in attendance.

UPS Hiring for Driver Jobs in Atlanta

UPS has announced they are hiring 50,000 people across the United States and much of those people for driver jobs in Atlanta.

The Atlanta-based shipping giant said that the upswing in hires is to prepare for the annual surge of packages that comes along with the holiday season, from November to January.

UPS has said that more than 1500 of those people will be hired in Atlanta.
