The Marketing Directors have announced that in addition to other jobs, they have added realtor jobs in Atlanta.

The company continues to show exceptional growth. Based on sales across Atlanta in the 2nd Quarter alone, The Marketing Directors has a 58% market share of sales in new condominiums. City Hiring for Police Jobs in Atlanta

Calling all cops: the metro area is aggressively hiring for police jobs in Atlanta.

City Hall wanted 2,000 police by the year 2,000, but that figure never became a realization, even though independent studies backed up that figure and even increased it by 500, saying the city needed about 2,500 to operate and fight crime efficiently. Now the city is stepping up their recruiting game to get 2000 by the end of 2012.

And the Atlanta PD is launching an aggressive recruitment campaign aiming at Georgia’s finest. (more…)

Manhattan Associates Hiring for Logistics Jobs in Atlanta

Manhattan Associates has announced that after initial layoffs they are now hiring for logistics jobs in Atlanta.

The company released its second quarter results and said that after laying off 140 people last year, they are now looking to add about 50 people.

Most will be IT positions. They currently have about 900 associates total in the Atlanta area.

Revenue rose 33 percent in the second quarter to $77.6 million. Profit was $8.2 million, or 36 cents a share, compared to a loss of $556,000 a year ago, or 2 cents a share. (more…)

Chase to Hire Tellers in Atlanta

Chase Bank is opening new branches all across Georgia and plans on hiring new tellers in Atlanta, among many other positions.

Chase is the retail and commercial banking arm of JP Morgan Chase. The bank plans on opening ten new bank branches across the Atlanta area within the year. The average cost of opening a bank is about $2.5 million.

Total, Chase plans on opening about 35 branches through 2012, which equates to approximately 300-400 new jobs.
